Hands down favorite bike I’ve ever owned

The G.1 is a beast on the streets, shreds gravel and flies up hills. This baby wants to travel. The first time I rode it I couldn’t help but search for the steepest hills I could find. They were no match. Beast of a bike.

    Too good to be true?

I'm a longtime cyclist. I've raced road, track, CX, and MTB. Quality is important to me, so I researched the heck out of this bike before buying it. All the reviews on reputable sites were positive, so I took the leap. The specs of this bike are top-notch, there is not a single component where they cut corners. Sram Force 1, Zipp finishing kit, and mercury wheels. Spec-wise, the only thing I would rather have seen is centerlock rotors - but that would have meant that it wouldn't be a complete Sram spec. I just prefer centerlock mount. Also, I may swap out the cassette with a tighter range since there is no terrain near me that would require such low gears. Also, this bike was completely adjusted out of the box! I weighed it as soon as I assembled it - without pedals and not set up tubeless, my 58cm weighed 18 lbs. Unreal. On paper, all that is fine, but what matters is how it rides. After getting my position dialed in (I swapped out the 110mm stem for a 120mm) I put it to the test. I hit all sorts of terrain, road, gravel, wood chip trail, and light singletrack. This bike handles predictably, I got into a couple situations where I was sure that I was going to fall, but kept it rubber side down. It pedals really smoothly. On top of all that the bike looks great - better in person than in photos, I got the silver one. I have received a lot of complements on it. You'd probably spend $1000 or more to get a bike this good from one of the major, popular brands. I'm glad that I bought this bike!
